A 4.0-years full scholarship offered by the Department of Defense in U.S to develop and implement a complex numerical model.
Scholarship included visiting the Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada, to complete a term of graduate courses.
The objectives were to develop, verify and implement a complex numerical model to analyze the behaviour of DNAPL in fractured rocks and the efficiency of various on-market remediation methods.
Numerical methods involved: First and Second Order Partial Differentiation, Explicit and Implicit Finite Element Analysis, Integral and Finite Difference, Matrix Manipulation and Statistics.
Involved in providing individual tuition and group tutorials to undergraduates.
