Noel is Senior Vice President, Research & Investor Interface at the Asia Pacific Real Estate Association (APREA) – the representative body for the Asia Pacific real estate sector, where he is
principally responsible for APREA’s product suite which includes research, investor outreach and trade missions. He engages with investors to enhance the value proposition APREA’s membership delivers.
Prior to APREA, Noel was employed by the Pacific Star Group, a private equity real estate investment house. He was a member of the team of five managing the USD600 million Baitak Asian Real Estate Fund and the USD650 million Asia Real Estate Prime Development Fund, and ran the underwriting and due diligence for the Puteri Cove Residence and Quayside acquisition.
Noel also has experience in listed securities with B&I Capital – a hedge fund focused on Asia Pacific real estate equities, and Admiral Investments – a real estate mutual fund. He additionally manages a S$2mio private family office investing in Asia Pacific real estate securities with benchmark beating performance.
Noel holds a Master’s in Applied Finance (Dean’s List) from Singapore Management University and is a CFA charter holder. He is a member of the CFA Singapore Advocacy Committee and represents CFA Singapore on CFA Institute’s Southeast Asia Collaboration Council.
Noel is personally convinced of the case for investing in real estate and for active management, which was the impetus for helping setup the Real Estate Investment Institute (REII) with like-minded professionals and the support of APREA. He is a member of the Singapore Stewardship Principles steering committee and works with stewardship groups across Asia.
